Plan to Turn Your Phone Off
The whole point of the float tank experience is to unplug and unwind. If you leave your phone on you might be distracted by notifications or phone calls. It's also possible you will feel the need to check your phone out of habit, even if the ringer is off. Think of this as a rare opportunity to not be totally tethered to electronic devices. Leave your phone off in the changing area, and embrace the quiet and solitude of the float pod.
Protect Your Skin From the Salt
While floating in saltwater will likely leave your joints and muscles feeling amazing, it can be a bit rough on your skin if you're not prepared. Avoid shaving for a few days before your float tank experience, as freshly shaven skin may be too tender for the saltwater.
